How far in advance do I need to book with you?

We take bookings up to 14 months in advance.

What is needed to reserve our wedding date?

A wedding is only booked once we received your deposit and signed contract.

How many weddings have you shot?

More than 150 weddings and counting (we do about 30-40 weddings a year)

How long have you been into photography?

I’ve been photographing people since 2007 but got my first camera when I was eleven years, my sister was my 1st model… never knew I was going to be a full time photographer then. But I’m loving every moment.

What advice would you give a bride who is looking for a wedding photographer?

Make sure you like what you see first and most importantly, make sure you connect with the photographer. Look for versatility in their photography; be certain they are able to make a simple location look extraordinary through their use of light, composition, and the way they can help bring out your emotion. Also, ask for references and read reviews about the photographer. Anyone can have a good set of photos, but it is important that they are consistent throughout their work.

How has your experience in wedding photography helped you in difficult situations on a wedding day? Knowing how to use your camera and being able to work with any lighting situation at any particular location are very important when it comes to dealing with unexpected situations.  If you are having a bad weather day, for example, where an outdoor ceremony is moved indoors and you still manage to come up with amazing images that is where experience comes in.

What are your top tips for brides to help them get great photos?

I like the First Look. Give yourself more time to get photographed so you are not under pressure. Remember, you hired people to do the work so let them do it; sit back and relax, it is your day.

What do you do to ensure a wedding will go smoothly?

I make sure that the time line is good and that there is enough time between each part of the wedding.  I make sure all of the addresses, names and any special or important photos that are needed to be taken on the wedding day are all known to me.

Do you shoot in color or black and white?

I photograph your wedding in color and then later I will change the images I think and feel that will look better in B/W.

Can we give you a shot list?

Yes, yes, yes, I would love that. Please let me know of any special photos that you would like, any people that you want, to make sure that they are in your images. You can email it to me when you send the time or give it to me on the wedding day. I know what photographs I have to take, but please let me know of anything else you would like and I would be more than happy to make sure we capture it.

How long will family photos take?

For formal family photos, I would like to spend no longer than 15-25 minutes right after the ceremony if possible. I am very flexible and have no problem changing things around if you need.

Do you have a limit on the number of photos you take?

No. I bring several memory cards with me to make sure we capture thousands of images. My goal is to make sure it will be hard for you guys to pick favorites

How long before we see the photos?

We normally add some photos on FB the week after your wedding (if you agreed to it). After +- 4weeks we will send you a link of the photo book, and you can make some changes if you feel like it, as soon as your happy we print and you will get your photos and book/s 7days after that. (Total time for editing and delivering is normally 4-8 weeks after the wedding)

Will our final images be watermarked?

No.

Can you photograph in different lighting?

Yes. I bring many lights with me to make sure we get different lights. I love working with off camera flash that work with wireless transmitters.

Do you bring back-up gear?

Certainly

Do you only photograph in Nelspruit?

No, I love to travel and photograph anywhere in the country and throughout the world.
